The national motorcycle riding club, which is named in support of former President Donald J. Trump and is headquartered in Florida, endorsed James Judge in the Republican primary for Florida’s 12th Congressional District.
DADE CITY, Fla. – Born to Ride for 45, the national motorcycle riding club named in support of former President Donald J. Trump, endorsed James Judge for Congress in the Republican primary for Florida’s 12th Congressional District on Wednesday.
“We are proud to announce our support for James Judge in Florida’s 12th Congressional District because he is pro-God, pro-life and pro-Constitution. Additionally, James supports securing the border, reducing taxes and balancing our nation’s budget. We strongly encourage voters to send him to Washington, where we know he will support President Trump’s America First agenda,” said George Colella, national president of Born to Ride for 45, which has more than 2,500 members among chapters throughout the U.S.
Judge is running against long-time politician Rep. Gus Bilirakis, who has occupied public office for nearly three decades.
“I’m grateful to George and Born to Ride for 45 for their continual support of my efforts and for their work in supporting President Trump and our great nation,” said Judge.
According to Judge, one of the hallmark reasons he is running to unseat Bilirakis is because Bilirakis has failed to uphold conservative values and adhere to the Constitution. Bilirakis has an average lifetime score of 63.25 percent when it comes to upholding the Constitution according to conservative watch groups like Conservative Review (62 percent), John Birch Society (60 percent), Republican Liberty Caucus (63 percent) and Club for Growth (68 percent).
Additionally, Judge takes issue with Bilirakis accepting nearly 4,000 special interest contributions from BlackRock, Facebook, Disney, Target, Microsoft, Google, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson and more, many of which oppose traditional conservative values.
“If those reasons aren’t enough, Gus does not even live in the 12th Congressional District. Americans are suffering while thousands of illegals storm across the border every day. It is absolutely beyond time for a change. With nearly three decades in public office, Gus has either caused the problems or he has allowed them to happen under his watch,” Judge said. “I am asking for voters to send me to Congress for two years to give me a shot. If I don’t do any better, they should fire me and elect someone else, but unlike Gus who brags about his continual compromising, I promise to never compromise on my conservative values.”
This is Judge’s fourth endorsement this campaign cycle. Judge has also earned endorsements from:
- Community Patriots, an active conservative organization throughout the Tampa Bay area with more than 5,000 participants across Pasco, Hillsborough and Pinellas
- Anthony Sabatini, a Republican former state legislator in Florida
- Jack Martin, a Christian, conservative pastor, who won more primary votes than any other challenger to Rep. Gus Bilirakis (R-FL) during the 2022 Republican primary election
