Good morning fellow conservative,
First and foremost, the following was not written by someone on my team, this was written by me.
I wanted to make sure you heard directly from me on why I believe I need to run for the U.S. House of Representatives against a longtime establishment Republican, who has been known throughout our area as a nice guy.
And, before I get started, Gus has been a nice guy. But, being a nice guy isn’t what our country needs!
Deciding to run against him has been a tough, because, as Gus put it, by doing this, I “have lost a friend.”
But, at the end of the day, I had to ask myself if the United States was headed in the right direction under his watch, and we all know it is absolutely not.
I love this country and after looking at my former friend’s voting record, and who is funding him, I knew I had to run. Our country is way more important than being friends with career politicians.
By the end of this term, Gus will have been in Congress for 18 years. In that time frame our nation has become hardly recognizable. Under his watch, Congress has bankrupted America. He is quick do to a press conference on the money he has spent, but it’s not only our money he is spending, it is money he and the rest of Congress have borrowed from China, which our nation’s children and grandchildren will have to pay back.
We also need to talk about who funds Gus.
A quick search on the Federal Election Commission’s website will reveal that Gus has had more than 3,600 special interest contributions from organizations like BlackRock, Facebook, Target, Pfizer, Disney and more.
Do you really believe he is representing our interests?
The cost of living has skyrocketed. The average family is spending $8,500 more a year to live than just two years ago. Interest rates continue to climb and inflation is out of control.
Our debt is currently more than $33 trillion and we have more than $210 trillion in unfunded liabilities.
With that money, and under his watch, Congress has funded pro-Marxist, anti-American curriculums for our public schools and training for our military service members that promotes socialist, anti-family, diversity, equity and inclusion training, as well as LGBTQ propaganda.
This is unacceptable!
You may remember that I ran for Congress last cycle against Democrat Kathy Castor, and I won the primary in a landslide, becoming the Republican nominee for Florida’s 14th Congressional District, despite being heavily outspent.
I only had one contribution from an organization, that was from the Tampa Police Benevolent Association, which I was honored to receive their support. The rest of my campaign’s donations were all from individuals.
I have been studying our Constitution, the Declaration and our Bill of Rights, and Washington is far from what our founders envisioned.
We need leaders in Washington who will fight to balance the budget, require the executive branch to enforce the law and we must secure our borders. We need legislators who love the Lord and will steer America back to her foundational Christian values.
I believe I’m the right man for the job.
Here are a few of things I believe:
- Our liberties and rights come from God and are non-negotiable
- Government should be there to ensure those rights are protected and not infringed
- To solve our problems, Washington must return to America’s Christian values
- The Bible should be in every public school
- Our government must stop spending money it doesn’t have
- Our borders should be closed immediately
Most importantly, I believe that America’s best days are ahead of us, not behind us.
It’s easy to lose faith in these troubling times, and I understand if you’re struggling.
But I believe in a big God who works miracles, and I wouldn’t be running this campaign unless I truly believed that America’s problems can be solved.
In that spirit of hope for the future, I’m asking you to join me today with your generous support.
Even the smallest contribution goes a long way in helping me defeat a career politician who is part of the problem.
Thank you in advance for your help.
For God and Country,
James P. Judge
