TAMPA, Fla. – James Judge (R-FL), a war veteran, small business owner and Tampa Bay area native running to represent Florida’s 15th Congressional District, picked up a strong conservative endorsement Monday when former Iowa Congressman Steve King (R-IA) offered his support for Judge.
“Over the last year, I have had the opportunity to develop a friendship with James and know he believes strongly in our foundational Christian values. James is a committed Constitutional conservative who understands the forces that seek to take down our America,” King said. “I know he will be guided by those values as he works to shrink the size and scope of the federal government, while fighting to secure the border and balance the budget. James is the America-first conservative President Trump called for to step forward, and I encourage the voters in Florida’s 15th Congressional District to vote for him this August!”
Judge, a Coast Guard veteran who served in Iraq with the Coast Guard and later in Afghanistan with the U.S. Department of Defense, is running to unseat Rep. Laurel Lee (R-FL) after former President Donald J. Trump called for removing Lee from office in late March. On Monday, Judge thanked King for his endorsement.
“Steve is a great Christian, conservative American who was run out of Congress by America-last ‘Republicans’ like Lee who also targeted Donald Trump. He was called names because he wanted to make English our official national language and for his fervent defense of our nation’s borders,” said Judge. “What Congress really needs is 435 members with the same set of values as Steve King. I intend to be one of them and gratefully accept his endorsement.”

James Judge, a Florida native, graduated from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg and served in the U.S. Coast Guard in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
