‘Reporting for duty, Mr. President!’ James Judge jumps to Florida’s 15th Congressional District, after claiming victory in FL-12

The firebrand conservative announced that he will challenge struggling Congresswoman, Rep. Laurel Lee (R-FL), who has a failing grade as a conservative in Congress. Just last month, former President Donald Trump criticized Lee and called for a true conservative replacement to step forward.

TAMPA, Fla. – James Judge (R-FL), the Tampa Bay area native, America-first conservative, Iraq war-veteran and Tampa small business owner who lives in Pasco County, announced his move into the Republican primary for Florida’s 15th Congressional District on Friday, claiming a victory in FL-12.

“In just six months, by shining a magnifying glass on my last opponent and holding him accountable, I was able to transform him from a D-rated Republican, a Congressman who voted about 60 percent of the time in-line with the Constitution, to a nearly A-rated conservative, who now aligns with the House Freedom Caucus,” said Judge. “I’m asking voters to imagine what I could do with a full 2-year term in Washington, where I pledge to hold the rest of Congress accountable.”

Judge was so effective at holding Rep. Gus Bilirakis (R-FL) accountable to conservative principles that President Donald J. Trump recently endorsed Bilirakis for reelection.

By making the jump, Judge is answering President Trump’s call for a true conservative to step forward and take on Rep. Laurel Lee (R-FL), the embattled incumbent Congresswoman for Florida’s 15th Congressional District.

According to Judge, Lee’s record is shockingly terrible and even worse than that of Bilirakis, but says the remedy lies with electing God-fearing conservatives like himself.

“I believe fixing Congress isn’t as difficult as people make it out to be. We just need to elect officials who realize they will stand before God one day and give an account for their actions and inactions,” Judge said. “It’s important to note my focus remains the same. I am running to end the anarchy at the southern border, restore law-and-order nationwide, balance the budget and pay down our national debt, something the Congresswoman has demonstrated she is adamantly against.”

In March, Lee opposed members of the House Freedom Caucus and voted in favor of the new $1.2 trillion funding package, which included more federal spending for LGBT initiatives and diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programs.

According to Judge, Lee, who is still in her first term, has consistently failed to uphold conservative values and adhere to the Constitution. According to conservative watchdog groups like The Freedom Index (50 percent) and the Republican Liberty Caucus (55 percent), Lee has a 52.5 percent average, when it comes to upholding the Constitution.

“When your job is to support and defend the Constitution, these aren’t just failing grades, I’d say she is virtually working as a Democrat,” said Judge. “Equally disturbing are the special interest groups who are funding her campaign.”

According to a recent review of political contributions tracked by the Federal Election Commission, Lee has accepted hundreds of special interest contributions in her short stint, including funding from Meta, Facebook’s parent company, and Google, both of which helped rig the 2020 election against President Trump and have consistently demonstrated their opposition to conservative, family values.

“I look forward to giving to constituents of Florida’s 15th Congressional District a truly conservative option this primary election and I pledge to wage an all out war against the radical progressives when I get to Washington,” Judge said.
