Republican Liberty Caucus endorses James Judge in Florida’s 15th Congressional District

TAMPA, Fla. – The Republican Liberty Caucus has endorsed James Judge in the Republican primary for Florida’s 15th Congressional District, the Judge campaign announced in a press release issued Friday.

“The Republican Liberty Caucus proudly endorses James Judge in FL-15. He is a liberty conservative who will boldly defend our constitutional rights,” said John Dennis, National Chairman of the Republican Liberty Caucus. “Unlike his establishment opponent, James Judge will fight for limited government and free markets.”

Judge gratefully accepted the endorsement.

“It’s an honor to be endorsed by the Republican Liberty Caucus. I look up to folks like Ron Paul, Ted Cruz and Thomas Massie, all of which have been affiliated with the RLC,” said Judge. “I look forward to promoting the ideas of our founding fathers when I get to Washington, which means getting back to a limited federal government and promoting foundational values.”

Judge is running against Rep. Laurel Lee (R-FL) in the Republican Primary for Florida’s 15th Congressional District, which includes parts of Hillsborough, Pasco and Polk counties. The primary election is scheduled for Aug. 20.

According to Judge, he is running against Lee, because he says she has consistently failed to uphold conservative values and adhere to the Constitution.

“With less than 15 months in federal office, Mrs. Lee has demonstrated that she is aligned solidly with the establishment, which is why I believe President Trump called for her removal,” said Judge. “She has taken special interest contributions from enemies of traditional Christian and conservative values. She has voted for massive spending bills, including the recent $1.2 trillion spending package. She has voted in favor of supporting federal funding for diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) and LGBT initiatives, and she has put forth legislation, which is in violation of the 4th Amendment. None of these things are acceptable, especially for a member of the Republican party to support.”

According to a recent review of political contributions tracked by the Federal Election Commission, Lee has accepted hundreds of special interest contributions in her short stint as a Congresswoman, including taking funding from disgraced former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, Meta, Facebook’s parent company, and Google, which Judge says, oppose traditional conservative values.

Contrary to Lee, Judge says he is running to reduce federal spending, balance the budget, secure the border and restore law-and-order.

Judge announced his campaign to challenge Lee after former President Donald Trump called for a true, America First conservative to step forward. Since answering President Trump’s call two weeks ago, Judge has earned the endorsements of the Republican Liberty Caucus, former Iowa Congressman Steve King (R-IA), former Florida Congressman Ted Yoho (R-FL), and Born to Ride for 45, a national motorcycle riding club with 6,000 members.
